Literature Text

I don't want to hear
Change your perception dear; that is
Just a polite way of saying
'get over it'
I will curl up and cry
If you will let me without
Telling me I am stronger
Let me be weak because
I am not a storm and I am not an avalanche
I am the quiet in the hurricane but
Not the destruction
Oh no, this time I am self-destructing so
Don't worry. You are safe.
Don't worry, I will fall apart in silence
So as not to interrupt your world or
Cause you any distress
But really, with all these smiles and hints
As to how I am really am
I'm just begging to be told
"It will all be okay"
Full title: Sometimes our souls aren't quite what the weatherman predicted

It's been a long weekend
Tell me, will it end though?
